Mission

The Nordic Guide and Scout fellowship exists to create opportunities for cooperation, exchanges of experiences and understanding of the Nordic cultures.

Vision  

• Guide/Scout meets Scout/Guide  

• Means that Guides/Scouts meet Scouts/Guides from the other Nordic countries through the Nordic guide and scout cooperation. The individual Guide/Scout should, through such meetings, increase their respect and understanding of other cultures and their involvement in international issues. 

• Association meets association  

• Means the active exchange of experiences between associations in the Nordic countries in areas where it is relevant to discuss questions of common interest.  

• Scout/Guide meets world  

• Means that The Guide and Scout movement in the Nordic countries have a strong position in the arena for youth politics on the Nordic, European and Global level and is a reliable partner to authorities and other organisations, since The Guide and Scout Movement is a youth movement where young people are able to express what they want and need.

• Guide/Scout möter Scout/Guide: Möten mellan guider och scouter från olika nordiska länder för att öka respekt och förståelse för andra kulturer och engagemang i internationella frågor.
• Organisation möter organisation: Aktivt erfarenhetsutbyte mellan organisationer i de nordiska länderna kring gemensamma frågor.
• Scout/Guide möter världen: Den nordiska guide- och scout-rörelsen ska ha en stark position på nordisk, europeisk och global nivå och vara en pålitlig partner för myndigheter och organisationer.
