The Nordic Guide and Scout Conference is a meeting platform that facilitates exchange of experiences and the creation of a network among leaders in the Nordic associations. The conference is held every third year in accordance with the activity plan.  

The aim of the conference is to facilitate meetings around different topics and aims to:  

– Develop each country’s work on different themes and to initiate different projects.  

– Revise mission, vision and the cooperative basis.  

– Discuss cooperation on different topics.  

– Discuss and cooperate on different topics on regional, European or world level.  

The Presidium meets during the conference. The presidium adopts the activity plan for the coming triennium and makes decisions regarding the framework for the Nordic cooperation. The Presidium consists of at least two representatives from each country. Furthermore each association in the Nordic countries has the right to have one representative in the Presidium. The representatives in the presidium should be part of the board of their association. In voting, each country has four votes, regardless of the number of associations in the country. It is possible to split the votes. Members of the NSK participate as observers in the meeting. 

The Presidency of the Presidium follows the rotation of the presidency of the NSK. The Presidency should lead the meeting, present the agenda items and provide a record of decisions after the meeting. The Presidency of the Presidium may not represent a country while handling the presidency. 

The preparation of the activity plan and other issues for discussions in the Presidium is handled by the NSK. A draft for the activity plan and other themes to be discussed should be sent to the associations at latest March 1st in the year of the Conference. The content and structure for each Nordic conference is decided by the NSK. It is recommended that the Nordic Guide and Scout Conference takes place during a weekend. The agenda for the conference should be based on the current needs and topics relevant to the countries and associations. 

 

Nordisk Scoutkonferens 2027

Nästa Nordiska konferens kommer att organiseras i Sverige under 2027. Mer information kommer att delas snart. Håll utkik. 

 

Nordiska Guide och Scoutkonferensen är en mötesplattform som underlättar erfarenhetsutbyte och skapandet av nätverk bland ledare i de nordiska förbunden. Konferensen hålls vart tredje år i enlighet med aktivitetsplanen. 

Syftet med konferensen är att underlätta möten kring olika ämnen och har som mål att: 

  • Utveckla varje lands arbete inom olika teman och initiera olika projekt. 
  • Revidera uppdrag, vision och den gemensamma grunden för samarbetet. 
  • Diskutera samarbete kring olika frågor. 
  • Diskutera och samarbeta kring olika frågor på regional, europeisk eller global nivå. 

Presidiet sammanträder under konferensen. Presidiet antar aktivitetsplanen för den kommande treårsperioden och fattar beslut om ramen för det nordiska samarbetet. Presidiet består av minst två representanter från varje land. Dessutom har varje förbund i de nordiska länderna rätt att ha en representant i presidiet. Representanterna i presidiet ska vara en del av sina respektive förbundsstyrelser. 

Vid omröstning har varje land fyra röster, oavsett antalet förbund i landet. Det är möjligt att dela upp rösterna. Medlemmar i NSK deltar som observatörer vid mötet. 

Presidiets ordförandeskap följer rotationen av NSK:s ordförandeskap. Ordförandeskapet ska leda mötet, presentera dagordningspunkterna och tillhandahålla ett beslutsprotokoll efter mötet. Ordförandeskapet i presidiet får inte representera ett land samtidigt som det innehar ordförandeskapet. 

Förberedelserna av virksomhetsplanen och andra frågor som ska diskuteras i presidiet hanteras av NSK. Ett utkast till virksomhetsplan och andra teman som ska diskuteras ska skickas till organisationer senast den 1 mars under konferensåret. 

Innehållet och strukturen för varje nordisk konferens beslutas av NSK. Det rekommenderas att Nordiska Guide och Scoutkonferensen äger rum under en helg. Dagordningen för konferensen ska baseras på aktuella behov och relevanta frågor för länderna och organisationerna.
